Albert Pujols: Incredible jerk or greatest baseball player ever? You decide

I attended the recent Cards-Cubs series at Busch, and was lucky enough to be on the field for batting practice. I asked one of the attendants if I could possibly get Albert Pujols' autograph. He proceeds to tell me that Pujols doesn't give autographs.

- I'm not bashing the ball players by any means...they're amazingly talented, it's just that if I was put in that situation, I'd have no problem giving out my autograph to anyone who asked. It's the fans who come out to the games and pretty much make these players famous.

- It should be part of their job...like I said, fans pay outrageous amounts of money to see the players, the least they could do is give an autograph or two

- I have never sold an autograph (truthfully) on the internet and I don't intend to...I'm just a baseball fan trying to meet and get autographs of people I've grown up watching.

- Indicted for what? They didn't commit a crime, just crashed a party. I'm sure you've crashed several parties in your youth, as most of us have.

- Hate to burst everyone's bubble here, but nothing Ali did was her choice...it was who the producers wanted. All these shows are scripted and she just followed the script that was given to her.

- He wasn't convicted of anything, suit was dropped...let it go...he should be able to play. And to Steeler Fan, he didn't commit a crime when he went over the bars of his motorcycle, he was just having a bit of fun.

- I've said it before and I'll say it again...he'll be the next David Price...start out in the minors, make hitters look silly down there, come up to the Nats in the middle of the season, get absolutely shelled, they'll send him back down and we'll never hear from him again...mark my words

- From what I've read, he picks Vienna, but they've done this in the past, the bachelor picks one, then goes for the other...I'm hoping that's what happens.

- It's no different than baseball players celebrating after winning the World Series...if you've fought that hard for something you want, you should be able to enjoy a little wine and a cigar or two.
